Week 15 (4/14 - 4/18)

Week 14 (4/7 - 4/11) Milestones
Major News and Developments
Please feel free to join us on Tuesday, April 15th from 1:00-2:00pm in Stewart 206 for our final presentation. We will cover the legacy projects that brought us to this semester, as well as all of the work and ideation that we went through this semester. After our 20 minute presentation, we will be fielding questions from the audience, so feel free to come and participate in the questioning!
- We collected our survey results and met with our Statistics Consultant to aggregate the data and analyze it. We now know how to study our results and implement them into our decision for what our final product package will encompass.

Week 13 (3/31 - 4/4) Milestones
Major News and Developments
- The initial draft of the Agronomy Website has been completed and sent to our sponsors for approval and suggestions for the next draft.
- Our Final Paper is coming along nicely.
- We have met with a Satistics Consultant to discuss methods of analyzing our survey data.
- We attended the Poster Symposium and presented our poster for patrons to view.
- We have started to receive feedback from our survey! This is very significant, as each response brings us one step closer to accurately discerning the needs of Indiana State Teachers.

Week 12 (3/24 - 3/28) Milestones

Ongoing Developments
- The cover letters have been mailed! This is a huge milestone for Splish-Splash and Associates, as we can now begin to aggregate data from schools all across Indiana. Almost all of the work we have poured into the project so far has come to this major development, and this will be key to evaluating results and helping to formulate our final paper. Celebrate!
- Our Poster was also completed for the Poster Symposium on 3/31 and is printed and ready to be set up.

Week 11 (3/17 - 3/21) Milestones
Major News and Developments
Ongoing Developments
- Poster for the Poster Symposium was begun
- Received a response from the IRB, and consequently revised our submission
- Resubmitted to the IRB
- It is important to note that our survey did not have any problems, there were only a few semantic issues with our cover letter
- Decided to contact schools via mail rather than calling each school on our list
- Also decided to put our survey online, to help with data aggregation
- Our survey was set up online successfully, and can be viewed from the link at the top of the page
- Acquired a template for Address Labels, and reformatted our contact addresses to fit
- Discussed the best way to have our letters printed and distributed to schools in Indiana, and found a cost effective solution
- Decided to create a website for the Agronomy Department where all of the videos and classroom content can be accessed

- All members were present for the GO/NO-GO Presentation on 2/28
- After the presentation, Splish-Splash and Associates were given a "GO" and will begin to bring the phase of its project into motion

- Major Research was conducted and completed
- Preliminary Research was begun to assess the validity of SmartBoards for an emerging technology.
- Ultimately, MPEG-4 Technology was decided upon for the emerging technology.
- Contracts were signed and dated with Professor Keith Johnson
- Employee Handbooks were completed and signed.
- Educational Survey was finalized and delivered to HOVDE for IRB approval.

Week 6 (2/11 - 2/15) Milestones

Ongoing Developments
- Rachel Gillespie contacted the Mass Distribution Center at Purdue University to discuss possible avenues of distribution for our product. Follow-up conversations are expected.
- Rachel Gillespie created the Company Agreement forms and drafted the Company Contracts.
- Company Contracts and Documents were reviewed by the team, edited, and signed.
Ongoing Developments
- All members of the research team are participating in ongoing research to help validate our decisions on our project.
- A meeting with Helen has been planned for Monday, 2/18, at 11:30AM to discuss successful avenues for researching.
